Sometimes the smallest things around the house can leave us scratching our heads.
That’s exactly what happened to me during a visit to my son’s home.
I was putting away a few freshly folded towels when I opened the closet door and noticed something unexpected.
Sitting neatly on a shelf was a single roll of toilet paper.
Not in the bathroom.
Not in a storage cabinet.
Right there in the bedroom closet.
At first, I assumed she simply needed extra storage space.
But curiosity got the better of me.
A Simple Question
Later that day, I asked my son.
“I noticed a roll of toilet paper in the closet. Is your wife just storing extra toilet paper in there?”
He laughed.
“No,” he said. “She keeps it there on purpose.”
That answer only made me more curious.
